Energy Savings Assistance Program (ESAP) Information
What is the ESA Program?
The Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) program is a California state initiative designed to help low-to-moderate income households reduce their energy bills. If you qualify, authorized specialists will install energy-saving improvements in your home at a low to no cost!
How it Works
From your first call to a completed installation, here is how we help you save.
1. Pre-Qualification
First, you must contact us and speak with one of our EASE representatives who will assist you with seeing if you qualify for the program.
2. Home Assessment
Upon pre-qualification, we will need to schedule a home visit with one of our SCE & SoCalGas badged Home Energy Specialists to see what your home can qualify for.
3. Installation
Based on what you qualify for, we will schedule follow-up appointments to install those items. *Scheduling time is based on our install availability*
4. Inspection
Some installed work may require post-install inspections by the city you live in or by SCE/SoCalGas to ensure the work was done to city safety code.
5. Relax & Enjoy
Now you can enjoy a more energy efficient home, saving energy, money, and most importantly, the planet!
Did you Know?
The ESA program is funded through a small charge on all California utility bills. That means you’ve already been contributing to this fund! If you qualify, this allows you to claim the benefits you’ve already helped pay for—getting your home upgraded at low to no cost to you.

Renters Vs. Homeowners
Renters
We just need a simple sign-off from your landlord to perform the upgrades. We can even help you speak with your landlord about the benefits (like a more valuable, efficient property).
Homeowners
You can upgrade your appliances and improve your home’s value at low to no cost based on program qualification.
